My name is Molly Osgood and I am an artist and educator. My areas of interest include drawing, painting, and ceramics. I love listening to 70s music, making art, and hanging with my pet tortoise in my spare time.

I am an elementary art teacher and am just beginning my journey in this field post college. I am very excited to see what this school year leads to and the people I will meet along the way.

 

I was inspired by my high school art teacher to become an art educator. He went to the University of Northern Iowa which is ultimately why I decided to pursue my degree at UNI. Without his positive and encouraging presence in and out of the art classroom, I would not be where and who I am today.

 

As an artist, and educator, my goal is to be a positive influence in people's lives. I strive to educate students about a wide variety of content areas through the means of creating art. All it takes is one creative way of thinking to connect a student to a new way of seeing the world.
